2019 Summer XC Training
Westview XC will be meeting Tuesday and Thursdays at 9am at Westview track (unless otherwise noted) with the coaching staff in the summer and will have runs scheduled with captains on the other days. Practices typically last 1 ½ to 2 hours.
It is important for XC athletes to gain a solid base in the summer months to prepare them for XC season. Please check athletic.net weekly for XC announcements!

Cross Country athletes must have good running shoes. The coaching staff recommends Portland Running Company for a good fitting.
All athletes new to sports at Westview must be cleared by the athletic office. Physicals last two years. All athletes MUST have a current physical. The BSD physical form and BSD participation form can be found here (click the MORE tab):
Cost for XC training is $150.00 donation for the entire summer of workouts and training. Emphasis will also be placed on core strength and injury prevention.
Athletes are responsible for getting themselves to practices. In late July, the coaching staff will have athletes meet at local parks/trails for workouts. Those locations TBA.
All payments must be paid online. Scroll down on webpage to Make a Donation. Choose Westview High School. Choose Cross Country.
