XC Week of September 10, 2018:
Thank you parent volunteers for all your efforts, prepping home XC course, monitoring races, and helping athletic timing at Wednesday’s brutally hot meet! Shout out to Brinton Call’s family for hosting team dinner on Friday! Athletes shared lots of great food. Thank you to all families for contributing to the dinner:)
Wildcats ran hard on Wednesday, took two recovery days and brought grit to Saturday’s invitational in Monmouth. Lots of SR’s (season records) and many PR’s (personal records) at Saturday’s race.
The coaching staff sees that athletes are off to a strong start, but we have lots of work to do. Please note we are at THPRD on Tuesday this week. Athletes must have transportation form turned in, unless they are driving with their parent/guardian(s). Athletes (parent/guardians) are responsible to transport themselves to and from THPRD.

Tuesday 3:15-5:15pm@THPRD (meet at softball concession stand-158th and Walker)
Wednesday 3-5pm @Westview
Thursday 3-5pm @Westview
Friday 3-5pm @Westview
Saturday Oregon City HS Invitational (meet bus at WHS at 9:15am sharp!)
Athletes that miss workout days are subject to not racing in the next meet.
Athletes MUST eat breakfast and lunch. They also need snacks/bars for before practice, especially if they gave first lunch!
Athletes that think they are injured or sore from running MUST attend practice! The coaching staff will evaluate you.
Saturday, September 15th, Oregon City XC Invitational at Oregon City High School (see athletic.net for directions):
Athletes meet at Westview track parking lot at 9:15 am sharp! Athletes travel to and from meet on buses. Athletes may leave with parents at conclusion of meet once they have checked out with a coach. However, we encourage athletes to stay with team:)
We will stop for food en route home. Athletes need lunch/snacks and money for food. There are concessions and T-shirts for sale. We should be back at Westview between 3:30 and 4pm on Saturday.
